Quaint little town

When I was in London I just thought it was very smoggy and I had a constant headache. We stayed first an hour south of London, in a little town that I've forgotten the name of. I loved walking around town, looking at all the antique shops, the local chemist's, the pond with swans a s o. It was a lovely town and a wonderful trip. The family we stayed with were doing a jig saw puzzle, which took up a whole room. It was 5, 000 pieces, and we must have been about ten people adding onto it during the three weeks we were there. It was a very intellectual family; the man of the house was a doctor and a nuclear physicist. I don't think we finished the puzzle...
